Features historical armies and limited visibility, so an enemy warband behind a hill won’t be seen, and you can set up clever ambushes! Armies covered include the Hittites, Egyptians, Assyrians, Scythians, Greeks, Romans, Chinese, Huns, Picts, Saxons, Turks, Samurai, Crusaders, Mongol and Romano-British, amongst others.

Does the absence of commentary mean that this game is inactive?

No mereley that none of us currently play it....

Ancient Battles has always had players, and does today, but perhaps since it is a play by mail (not email) game those playing it are less likely to be on the web than for games which can be played by either email or via the post.

I am really not familiar about the game Ancient Battle. Have the created
the same game played in console? The game really sounds interesting.
Playing it in mail and posts? How does it work out?
