Who supports what?

Post by ginger on Fri Dec 12, 2008 3:39 pm

Sporting teams -

Not wanting to cause hooliganism on site lol!

Football (supporter): Celtic FC
Footbal (follower): Juventus - Italian club from Torino/Turin.
Cricket - England when I can get up the interest to watch a defeat.
F1 racing - Ferrari
NFL -Oakland Raiders
Baseball - New York Mets. I don't know much on the sport, I know a bit about the big apple. So I follow the Mets. Sort of. Smile
But of all things American sporting. My favourite has to be the WWF. Razz Even if my favourite wrestler from when I used to watch was Canadian, Bret 'the hitman' Hart. But his wrestling brother-in-law was from Yorkshire, the British Bulldog Davey boy Smith.

I don't really follow English football or understand rugby scratch By rights I should support Darlington FC.

That is about the only sport I watch since some of the kids I have taught have gone on to play at the college level. I thoroughly enjoy the games! I spend more of my time listening to my extensive classical music collection and reading. When I watch TV it is often the boring stuff that others avoid. Sleep

Football:
Local side from home, Maidstone United
Premier League: Tottenham Hotspur
Bundesliga: Hannover '96 (and the mighty little ships, Hansa Rostock!)

Baseball:
Texas Rangers (saw A-Rod hit a homer at Arlington a few years back)

Rugby & Cricket I naturally support England (and Kent in the county championship)

Spanish La Liga: Racing Santander, nearby for a Summer holiday next year, but close seaon so will miss the chance to catch a game.

Rugby Union:
Newport Gwent Dragons
