    Hiya Everybody,

Today, I thought that I would speak a little about making the simulation a bit more interesting, a little addition of what I call the "Humanity Factor"! A good example of this factor (in my opinion) is the interaction between Count von Piper and Queen Ulrica Eleanor, specifically their love affair and following marriage! There is plenty of diplomacy, trade and war, but, absolutely none of the "Humanity Factor"! You can, for example, spice up the adventures of your favorite pirate or corsair, by adding a short paragraph describing his "pep-talk" to his subordinates/crew before an engagement, his actions during the engagement, and (if he survives) his actions and words to his officers and crew after the action!!

Or, those of you that have a kinge or another type of monarch could have him romance and marry a noble-woman of appropriate rank, taking your time in doing so! You don't want to do it all in one month or even two or three....take your time, make it funny, and, occasionally serious! Tell Richard what you want to try, and he'll handle the other characters words and actions! It's a little bit of role-playing, but, it'll add spice to the game, all you need to do is to tell Richard what you're trying to do, and he'll work with you and publish you're story, bit by bit, in the Newspaper!!

For example, I am now adding doctors and chaplains to my armed forces, and (as soon as they graduate from Academy) the storyline will follow the adventures/misadventures of one particular young Chaplain, from the day he reports for duty at the Main Gate of the "Havssoldater" (Marine) Recruit Training Facility, until he graduates, and maybe even throughout his career as a Havssoldater Chaplain! And, every-one will be able to follow that story in the newspaper as it is published!

Cmon people, open up and be creative......Let your minds create something outstanding! Startout small, then build onto the idea in you're brain, no-one is going to laugh at you, or call you stupid!! Just give it a try, you may surprise yourself (and everybody else too)!! You will also make the simulation much better for your-self, and the other gamers!

I hereby invite the other gamers to read this post, and make welcome comments!! Don't just read this post, be a participant

I like the idea and have several ideas that have been rolling around for several months. It is impossible to get everything I want to get done completed. I hope that matters will improve as I get close to my summer break and that my summer teaching schedule will not be as heavy as years previous.

I have enjoyed your reports in Game II and hope that you continue your reports. I do believe that it leads to a better level of gaming.

Thanks for the reply revvaughan, it is greatly appreciated! Any input is welcomed here, there is no such thing as a "stupid comment" in these forums, the only "stupid comment", is the comment not made!! Who knows?? The comment which you post may give another gamer a fantastic idea, which may enable you (or another person) to brainstorm something even better!! I invite the other 18 viewers that read this topic, to write at least two sentences referencing this subject! Help make an excellent simulation even better!!!

For those gamers whom haven't tried-out their roleplaying ideas, "because no-one else has" and, that has made you embarresed to do so, here's your "big chance"! I've taken that first step for you!! Now, it's your turn, all you have to do is to "step up to the plate, and swing the bat"!!
