Can anyone recommend good miniature soldiers (and the websites to buy them off), especially French, to represent the period of Glory of Kings? I'm in game 2 and its 1737 so i guess Seven Years War is closest period of accuracy.

It might be worth looking at Front Rank. Their figures are incredible (28mm) They do Spanish War of Succession, not sure if they do Seven Years War or how much uniforms changed between the two wars.

Freikorps 15mm do lovely french with the full skirt coat so you can do the army of the austrian succession which was at this time and before 7years war. Sold by QRF
    Otherwise Old Glory 15s.
In 28mm you can get this period from Old Glory, Front Rank, and others which will come up on the web in asearch engine.
Nice to hear others wish to indulge in wargaming side as well as the genteel flowery diplomatic ways.
