Hello to all. I'm Phil, (51) from Bristol (UK). I've been playing LGDR game 2 for some 12 game years as The Moghul and am about to embark on another incarnation in game 8. I've been wargaming since the age of 14 when I discovered a set of English Civil War rules in a second hand bookshop, later joined a wargames club, discovered PBM and here I am. I feel that Richard should at the very least be mentioned in dispatches for the excellence of the game. Long may it continue. Aside from smoking I've never been one for addictions, but this game certainly gets under one's skin. I would like to extend my best wishes to all future friends and enemies. My IT skills are not that great so appologies in advance for any future cock-ups. Kindest regards to you all.

Re: introduction
Pleased to meet you Phil.
Good luck in the game I'll see you there maybe
I whole heartedly agree with kudos to Richard for such a great game - I've played on and off over the years as I can afford it. Well worth it.

Re: introduction
Game II... I call that area home. Seem to enjoy myself quite a bit there. I also play SFE since that is my favorite period of history. Look forward to working with you in Game II and I hope the grain hit the spot!

Many thanks for the warm welcome. I note you were Spain in game 2. Were you by any chance the gentleman who paid me the honour of bestowing the order of Philippe 1st class on my humble self. Did my honour score no harm. Judging by the enthusiasm shown by all, I agree with Richard that the new game is going to be very good. Orders being done tonight and then begins the letter writing. Time will no doubt show whether we are to work together or not but regardless, I wish you all the best in your endeavours. Phil

To rev Vaughan. Many thanks for the warm welcome. I assume I know you in Game 2, I'll no doubt work it out in due course. Now where's my pipe and deerstalker. Thanks for the grain, it has certainly hit the spot. I must admit to being pleasantly surprised at peoples' generosity. I must be doing something right. take care.
