    Polish Politics Empty Polish Politics

Can someone enlighten me on how the politics of Poland work in the game? I have a vague idea that there's an "elected" (?) ruler (Prince?) - but there also seems to be a permanent (?) player Chancellor who runs the country.

Ok you are right in that they "elect" a kning its called an electroal Monarchy, the Prince is the ruling Lord and thus has control over Poland. The Jing has virtyually no control and cannot order Poland and its commonwealth to war unless all 4 leaders (Poland, Polish Ukraine, Lithuania and Courland).

The Prince rules the country BUT must pass all laws etc thruogh the Sejm (parliament) in which every Lord or Bishop has a vote and a single veto by any of them can scupper the vote.

The King has to agree to a set of rules not all of them but if he agrees to all of them there is a better chance of being chosen, but it also depends on how much bribes he spends or how popular he is.

Basically its a title and thats all for the King of Poland.
