You need to see Kingdom of Heaven! Also, if not mentioned, "We were Soldiers" with Mel Gibson, very good.

My top film is Moby Dick with Gregory Peck. A classic.
Historical would be El Cid, or Spartacus.
I tend not to watch warfilms but did enjoy Apocalypse now.

    "The Great Raid"
    "Prisoner of Honor"
    "Ride with the Devil"
    "Gods and Generals"

    BAND OF BROTHERS

I also like the Hornblower and Sharpe's films.

Pretty much.. If it is a War Flick, Western, Police-Fire show I am all over it.

I wont spoil the mood & place my view upon the latest double-episode of the Sharpe tv series. It might not of aired in the States yet for one.

I can't believe they've been making the show for the last 16 years & have shot in Portugal, Turkey, Ukraine & England. And with nearly, if not all, the same members of the crew throughout that time so they say.

Anybody got any suggestions for films which would help to play any of the Agema games? I've just received my dvd rental through the post allocation & it got me wondering.

Plunkett & Macleane Razz I liked that film. Is it slightly out of period for LGDR/TGOK though? 1750+ confused

    Anybody any thoughts Very Happy
