Lack of Action in Game Empty Lack of Action in Game

    Post by count-de-monet Thu Oct 13, 2011 8:24 am

I wasnt sure whether this should go in this section of the forum, but it purely relates to this game, or in general chit-chat.

I have had a very traumatic family incident, and to be honest as a result I can generate no enthusiasm for my game positions. At the moment its not too bad in the sense that, with the long game turnarounds I am ahead of the game with the next turns (they have pretty much been done before the incident occured), but going forward my turn replies, especially letters will be minimal or non existant.

I am not looking to drop from my positions, but please dont take a lack of correspondence from me as a negative sign.

Very sorry about your bad news. It comes to all of us at some time or another. A sad fact of life. We all understand, take all the time you need, dear friend.

I hope things get better with time, sometimes real life can make the game seem meaningless.

thank you all for the very kind words.

Fingers crossed I think I am now back to commiting some more time to my game turns

They could briefly drop again, when the case goes to Crown Court but that should only hit one or two turns.

If it is any help, I find that the game can be a useful distraction from the real world sometime as it gives the ability to ponder on some other things.
