Logging In Problem

Post by Jason on Tue Apr 10, 2012 9:37 pm

Is anyone else having problems logging in the last day or so?

If I try to log in with having the 'tick' in the box that says 'stay logged in', I get a message saying some suspicious activity has been detected in my account and I have to click on a link that takes me to a site called 'online guardian' where I have to enter my screen name (but not password) and then enter two words which appear in a distorted form on the screen. however doing this doesn't seem to resolve the problem and if I try to log in again, I still get the same message.

Don't ask me why but I tried sticking the 'tick' in the box and I got in straight away. I have run several scans and have found no sign of anything dodgy; I also tried logging out and logging back in again-if the box is ticked I can get in...if it isn't...

No problem here... However, there have been some Windows updates that were blasted out this week. Perhaps some change to IE or to the OS in general could be causing the issue.

Something like that could easily be the cause!

IE = Internet Explorer Ver.X
OS = Operating System

I am still having the problem if I don't have the 'tick' in the 'log in automatically' box...if I have the tick then there isn't a problem...odd but at least I can log in Smile
