Does anybody know off-hand how many guns an arsenal can produce a month?

As many as you want unless it some special design and it will then be specified in the relevant rulebook how many can be produced each month.

Thanks, that's what I was guessing but wasn't certain.

You can I beleive raise as many Cannon/muskets/Rifles etc a month as you want, dependent on recruits & funds. The Arsenal only comes into play with specilised developments like air rifles, certain artillery improvements and the like. I am not sure if having Arsenals will help with speed of developing new weaponry, that maybe another avenue to look down.

An academy is needed to actually develop the weapon and a Arsenal is needed to produce any non-standard weapons.

Thanks for the clarification, I'm not sure if you can also use an Aresnal as a research centre as well. I know you sometimes also need an academy in the same place as the newly equipt units you intend to raise.

You will receive a a short message from Richard If you try to use a Arsenal as a research centre, explaining why you cannot do that.
