Hapsburg's introduction

Post by Hapsburg on Fri Jun 20, 2008 10:58 pm

Hello all

Tudor, 40 from Newport in South Wales.

I have been playing in game 3 of LGDR since it began in 1700 (1989 I believe, but only Richard will know for sure).

Still can't wait to look at my turn results even after all these years, although with a family I can't devote as much time to diplomacy as I would like.

Play Napoleonic Battles as Frederick Wilhelm, again when I get the chance, but still have one of the best win: games played ratios in the standings table. Always mean to send in another setup!

Best wishes

Tudor

Once you are hooked like me you will play to the end, 1750 the end date as shown on the front of the rule book? Not long to go then!

Thanks for the welcome.

Yep, LGDR did start way back in 1989, which incidentally means next year is the 20th anniversary!

20 years! blimey you'll have to have some sort of gathering - strict rules, no duelling/settling of scores, in costume and character of course!
