My apologies to all players in Game 8, for not replying in Turn 2!! I was chosen for jury duty, and on the 2nd day off the trial, the judge decided to sequester us. I shall make up for this in this, the 3rd game turn, I promise!! Again, I apologise!!!

Too late. We all declared war on you because you wouldn't talk to us. Surprised

Must have been an interesting trial if you were sequestered. I just got off of one a few weeks ago where we convicted a man of criminal mischief. He got drunk and broke into the apartment he was evicted from and trashed it. I felt a bit bad for him since he'd had a hard run recently, but he had issues.

    Criminal mischief sounds almost cute.

It does doesn't it? The 'gentleman' in question returned to the apartment at 3am on a saturday morning, drunk and with a large bottle of booze. Kicked in the door (the locks had been changed), and then when the newly installed alarm went off, ripped that off the wall, then wandered outside with a machete and started attacking the railing.

I kind of felt sorry for him, since it sounded like the landlord has been a bit of a bitch to him when he had some health problems, but sorry or no you don't get to trash the place, so...

Sounds not unlike what I was reading of a certain Peter the Great last night during his Great Embassy to England. He was put up in a very nice house in London, and between him and his staff, trashed the place. All the chairs were missing, paintings pierced, carpets ruined, the garden a mess, the prize holly hedges were flattened (presumably as a result of a game Peter had invented whereby he'd sit in a wheelbarrow and be pushed headlong into the bushes), and that's just some of the damage. The bill for repairs was around £350. A lot in those days.

Criminal mischief, by the Tsar....but it does sound like fun.
