Silence is...

Post by Jason on Wed Nov 25, 2015 7:46 pm

Hi folks

Just to say sorry to anyone awaiting an in-game letter from me in any game I'm in. afraid 21st C is being a little bit annoying at the mo and leaving me short of time...normal service should be resumed soon...

I can relate. I missed two turn deadlines recently because this real life thing kept getting in the way of my gaming. (fortunately my late submittals still processed)

Hope it sorts out soon.

Ditto. And typically thoughtful to let us all know. Much appreciated.

Apols for the on-going silence! I had hoped to have caught up by now but no such luck!

Hopefully the New Year will see normal service resumed...

My apologies to any and all waiting for replies from me, sorry for my on-going silence. I hope to soon be able to get back into the swing of things!

This esp applies to G10, be assured Scotland is still active!

Nobody expects the Scottish Inquisition!

Amongst their weaponry are such diverse elements as fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to getting falling down drunk, and food so bad that even the English won't eat it!

Exactly!

Many years ago, we went to England/Scotland for our honeymoon. (we Americans think it so quaint when you Europeans talk about driving long distances). My wife ordered pizza at the takeaway place after we crossed over into Scotland and we were appalled to find that they'd deep fried the whole thing. I have been afraid of Scottish food ever since.

The American South does show its Scottish heritage at times... We will deep fry just about anything that will sit still long enough to have itself done in.

Not sure if I have mentioned it but when first moved up north, lived in the town (Stonehaven) that invented the deep-fried Mars Bar, and the Fish and Chip shop that apparently did it first (the Carrion) still has a big sign outside boasting of this fact. I have yet to try one...they will deep fry other chocolate bars for you, as well as pizza as Deacon discovered...I have heard rumours of deep-fried salad...

As to the drinking, upon moving here I learnt I was comparatively almost teetotal...much to the amazement of my liver...
