Re: out of action
If it is the one I read about ( seven vehicles with a medflight required for a female) it sounded rough. I know what protocol we have on the troops here in the states for calling a bird and putting it in the air. Certainly presided over my share of hot landings on the expressway!

Re: out of action
Hope Kingmaker is feeling Ok.........past experience indicate it often needs 24 hours or more for shock (none in my case) & wip lash (ouch.....why can I not turn my head) to kick in after a car smash.
Odd how are the mention of Von Dracken Nun Slayer. Kingmaker is "honour de combat".......any Airships or Steam Engines seen near the incident?

Re: out of action
Didn't read of that in the article... I can say for years as an emergency services commander that you are right on with the 24 hours. The human body does strange things in a MVC regardless of how significant the incident is. For other reference... Do CPR one time for more than 30 minutes and the next day you will discover entirely new types of pain radiating from muscles that you didn't know existed in the human body!

Re: out of action
Thankfully own experience of really bad motor vehicle and other accidents is 3rd & 4th hand due to working in the insurance industry rather than being involved with the fire and accident services. Who have my total respect...... but not sure I would want to do the job.
Not sure if anyone fully understand's shock since it seems that three people can be involved in same accident. One goes into shock almost immediately, one a month later and the third never.
Own experience of "mild" whip lash after being rear ended by a BMW was nothing for 24 hours, a week of being in real pain then most oddly two weeks of being "aware" of my shoulder blades. Which was most odd since while we all have shoulder blades you can not normally feel them like you do if you rub your fingers against each other.
But I can fully believe other people have a very different experience followly even a fairly similiar accident.

Re: out of action
Well, as you can see, I have solved my own self-created little problem in logging on to the site, so can at last declare directly by deepest sympathy for the pain and the inevitable frustration. Hope you are up to at least 2-fingered typing by now, and that the 6 weeks melts away. Thanks as ever for all your dedication to this site. I missed not being able to take part! Jim
