Re: Game two
I only recently joined and asked the same question (about only 15 years left). Richard said 1750 as an end date was just a guide, and as long as interest remained in the game he would keep it going, so there is a chance it goes beyond 1750.
Im not doing that great - took on a position that was in dire straights (it still is) but I have to say Game 2 has some amazingly good and supportive players. These are well established, safe and confident in their own strength. This means they are more open to offering help to new players and in my case it has really shown.

Re: Game two
Game II is my second TGOK experience... I am having a blast with this one and hope to be there for some time. I am just hoping that the turn comes back today!

Re: Game two
Yes, just confirmed game two. This is my second game as well.Looks like some good regular players involved. That is always a good thing. I must admit, that i do not know how the situation lies, i believe i am taking Persia. Should have asked the situation really, but i will give it a go and see what happens. I have never played an oriental power, so it should be different.

Re: Game two
Ok, i will drop you a line. As i remember you are England. I get the impression that the game turn will be arriving within a couple of days. I know Agema had a complete week off, last week for Easter, so game turns will be fireing in all this week.

Thanks jamesbond007, I appreciate that! I thought that maybe I had made a mistake and perhaps accidently deleted it from my incoming mail!!

Kingmaker as well. Game two is certainly popular. Does anybody know if Persia has been involved in any wars? just wondering how poor a position i am likely to be in.

Re: Game two
I don't have my turns here with me, but I can't seem to remember too much going on in that part of the world. I know that the Ottoman world is in turmoil due to civil war, but that is baout all that I have heard out of that portion of the world.
Game II is certainly popular and things look to be getting more and more excited as time goes on.

Re: Game two
Good, i like a civil war. Just as long as its not my nation. Lgdr, is exciting, because anything can happen at any given time. When a new player comes in, anything is possible. It is also exciting waiting for that first turn, your situation can be anything, or everything. Thanks for the info. At least it sounds like i am not facing a disaster.

Re: Game two
The war is between the Rumelian and and other who both claim the ottoman crown. The Shah is a different position I think, either way it willbe very interesting for you. I jouned game 3 at war with the Shah
but soon had him sorted
Any way its a good position King Ferdinard may look kindly on you
