Re: The real louis of france
I think the last post has been "played" in France v England.
I hope he remains in LGDR as TRKL had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the period and a v long term game plan.
I think he may be considering G2 but he definitely feels vilified in the forum.

Re: The real louis of france
I was perhaps the one player in Game 7 that held a positive correspondence with him in game.
I can only speak as I saw. I enjoyed him in the game and thought he added ALOT of value to my own enjoyment and understanding. He was a good and supportive ally and friend.
I hope he re-charges his batteries and gives another LGDR world a go. The game will be richer for his presence.

Yeah, I think the personal sniping in the G7 thread got to be too much.

Re: The real louis of france
well I hope he comes back it is a shame that ppl can feel that bad they have to leave. He did have a very good knowledge of the era.
I just hope that ppl can not hound players after all ...."its only a game"

Re: The real louis of france
I can only speak as I find,
I had a cordial & good relationship with TRKL, I admit I was not involved in a game alongside him. I found that talking to him was a positive experience from my point of view, I think he will be missed for better or worse he contributed a lot to the Game & Forum. He was also the focal point in G7.
If TRKL visits as a guest & looks over this post then I would like to say that I wish you sir all the best for the future, it has been a pleasure to have shared my gaming experiences with you.
I can only hope that at some time in the future you will feel able to return to the forum & eventually the Game that you so obviously enjoyed. I for one will look foward to your return.
