    Good evening gents,
Just wondered if anyone can tell me how I can store a quantity of meat which goes off in a few months time.
Can it be kept longer if stored in a particular location?
    Many thanks for your assistance.

I did ask Richard about this recently in a game, here's a summary of what he told me

To long term store meat or fish, needs salting or to be cured with spices: costs 10% of weight, so
10,000 tons = £1,000 to salt. Smoking takes a month (after culling) and cost £5,000 per 10,000
    tons and also preserves.

smoked, salted or cured fish (and I assume meat) should probably be stored in a warehouse to ensure it remains unspoilt.
Warehouses cost £10,000 each to establish, and can hold up to 100,000 tons each. There is no
annual upkeep payable for a warehouse.

    Hi Jason
    Many thanks for that information.
    That sounds just the ticket.
Cheers for taking the time to reply.
    Much appreciated
