anyone know does winter weather affect sailing in the med, or is it safe to sail all year?

it will sate the weather in the Gazette etc. yes winter weathr can have an effect, I lost an entire grain shipment due to bad weather, although none as really mentioned in the pape it was winter in the Baltic.
Try to avoid sailing in bad weather or winter in certain seas, Med is not too bad, BUT it does get storms like every else in the game....
