GAME 8 THE GLORY OF KINGS
WAITING LIST

Having bowed to the inevitable following friendly and gentle pressure to do so, Agema is officially hereby opening up a waiting list for the new Game 8 of The Glory of Kings (La Gloire du Roi).

These positions are available. If you'd like to take one please let us know. If you are an existing player, we'll reserve the position for you and take the set-up game turn fee off an existing game account. If you are not currently an active player but wish to take part you will of course need the rules, but in addition to reserve a position need to send us the set-up game turn fee via our website (or through the post). To do this on the website, click on 'pay for turns'.

The idea of reseving a position is to secure it, so the initial turn fee is non-refundable should you later change your mind since we're reserving the position for you and may have to turn away other potential players who wanted it.

We expect the game to begin between July and September 2010!

In addition numerous minor positions can be accommodated if you really want them - an example would be a director of the Bank of Hamburg. Some players of large positions can set up separate colonial office positions for another player to run, to give another example.

Well we look forward to this and having a good number of players for the start of a new game!

We aren't making any promises about this, but the intention is to revamp the maps prior to game launch to show on all of them who currently owns what possession, so you'll know what everyone else owns as well as what you do - it'll be clearly represented on the maps!

We also intend to update the maps to show lots of new locations.

It looks like, from various letters and conversations, that most of us, on this forum are getting involved in game eight. So come on. Are we going to reveal our Nations. Or are we going to keep matters under wraps, and await those first, all important letters. Then discover and work out, who is who?
