Sounds like a Med cruise to me. Been on a Carribbean one, but not the Med cruise, as of yet. Been away a few days up North. Was nearly home, when a mobile speed camera nabbed me. Gotta wait now,for the dreaded letter. Pehaps i should stick to cruising? Have a nice time.

You will have to tell me what Israel is like. I keep meaning to visit, but wife and kids are not interested. Will go there, when the kids are all off my hands. I keep getting outvoted on holidays.

I have been to Egypt. So i know what you mean about wishing cooler wheather. I remember thinking the Nile was rather dirty and smelly.Lots of people wash in it. Cloths and body.I was only on a day trip. So i went on the touristy part. Hopefully they have a better part for the week cruises. Let me know what it is like now. I went many years ago. I found the pyramids an experiance. I am not claustrophobic. But i felt it in there. It has to be dark in there to preserve the Tombs and pyramids. But i was surprised how dark. I am tall, so i struggled with the narrow gaps and passageways in the pyramids. They were built in a time when everyone was much smaller. At times we were on our hands and knees. People eveywhere. One big conveyer belt. It was a great experiance though. Enjoy. The fish in the red sea are amazing.Great snorkeling, scuba diving.

I was in Egypt about 35 years ago.

We flew through beirut when it was still a beautiful city. At the time, you couldn't pass through Israel on the way, because if you had an Israeli stamp in your passport they wouldn't let you into Egypt!

I've wanted to take my wife back, so let me know how the cruise is, since I thought that would be the way to see it a second time.
