Question regarding game 2 - Page 14 Empty Re: Question regarding game 2

    Post by MarkTurner26 Wed Jun 05, 2013 6:33 pm

Well Game 2 turn is back out again...

Prussia and France are still going at it in Strassbourg with the Prussians seemingly gaining a foothold within the city after its Pioneer Reigments got mauled trying to follow up a successful breach. With the Duke wishing to negotiate terms and French refusing is all lost within the city is the presenc of the Kaiser enough to invoke the warrior spirit of the Prussians.

Prince Karl George of Hanover has opened up a "pleasure" garden for him and his nobility, along with his "Harem" some might wonder at what the Prince is really up to.

Both the King of Hungary and the Duke of Genoa have finally arrived home from there little excursion to Moscow.

The Hungarians have opened a new joint trade ministry in Udine.

Once again the Ottomans show there military prowess by bringing to heel the brigands that had been plauging Prussian caravans in the area. Meanwhile in Iraklion the Ottomans continue to crush the rebels with the rebels refusing to surrender, looks like Iraklion will be bombarded from both directions.

Finally once again Prussia has asked France to enter into talks at the peace table, we can only assume that once again the French will remain quiet and warlike. Having not witnessed much aggressive action in regards to the French we can only assume that they are following a course of soaking up any military action before any offensive can occur.

Though to be fair if they want to cover the banks of the Rhine with beach towels is is in Germany.

I would be more worried if the habit spreads to Stockholm, South of France, Paris etc.

PS Nothing wrong with Paris apart from the fact that its full of French types

Post by J Flower Sun Jun 09, 2013 5:51 pm

    Dear Sir;
Please not that there are no Germans causing trouble in Europe it is the nasty Prussian's not the peace loving Weisenbier drinking Germans.

The Prussian's are actually also not invading anyone they are simply trying to reclaim lost property. Admitted the lost property encompasses an entire city. Most importantly the French Started it.

Note to self:- Do not send 10 Elite infantry Battalions into a burning city containing entire French army, it really puts up there Sickness Levels.

Wait until Summer for visit to Paris, it will burn better then.

Post by revvaughan Mon Jun 10, 2013 5:17 am

Just checked and your bags are still there. Guess I will need to send the First and Second Army there to see if we can reclaim it.

If the Prussians are lighting the fire can we at least bring the brauts for roasting?

Post by J Flower Mon Jun 10, 2013 8:28 pm

City seems a bit soggy at the moment, when the weather warms up then Prussian army will be collecting a lot of firewood, There is going to be a big fire I believe.

Have heard that the RN has taken a winter break in waters around the South of France, looking forward to there return to the North, maybe the Prussian Yacht club can hide behind them next time they attack the French.

The new pleasure Gardens that the Prince of Hanover has build are they part of the Royal Horticultural Society, is the Prince collecting all kinds of exotic Flowers ?

South of France... That is the third fleet. The Ottoman Fleet is there as well. Not a good time to be a Frenchman there.

Prussian's are welcome in the firing line! There should be plenty of room. Perhaps we could save some of the ships for lighter wood.

It would seem that my son has a thing for the "exotic" However, he still seems to be quite the lad!

Thanks for the offer to let the Prussian Yacht club join in the firing line with the RN, I,m sure some of those nice big English ships will look after the little rowing boats the Prussians use.

I take it Hanover wants to get its hands on Hamburg to ensure a ready supply of "exoticflowers" for its pleasure gardens, please wait until the Prussian navy has left the sailor like lying & relaxing in the Hamburg flower beds.

Sounds like a splendid affair with those young women!

Perhaps Hanovarian Navy will be in the frey shortly! That would give the Prussians and the British even more friends to play with.

So we have Pirates naughtily setting fire to a town in the West Indies...

A game of "Whose Colony is it anyway" going on between England, Hanover and Sweden (though I prefer Mornington Crescent myself)

The Kaiser still trying to bombard Strassburg back into the Stone Age...and it seems he has some new allies on the way...

Maybe the Prussians can get a few hints & tips from Herr Blackbeard on taking cities by storm. Maybe the German way has been too civilised up to now.

Seems the Prussian navy wants to stay in Hamburg, even going so far as to blockade themselves in the Harbour, apparently the crews have disappeared into the red light district of the harbour, to show there intentions to conquer the place they scuttled their ships, there is no going back conquer or die.

Why does the crown price of Hungary want to be a Catholic priest? His Protestant parents must be most upset by this turn of events. luck that he is going to Berlin for his "Education" there he will learn the truth about the man in Rome, with a lesson in relegious tolerance from the Kaiser,

The show for "Whose Colony is in Anyway" has been cancelled! The 2nd Regiment of Heavy Artillery as well as the Sewers and hospital that were built within the last two years bear the mark of His Majesty's Government. Certainly His Majesty will not fight with his son over anything as trivial as property, but he will burn Swedish ships and towns for the treachery that they have visited on England twice.

The Prussian Yacht club needs some assistance does it! We shall send over the row boats.
