If your Swashbuckler needs a more active background to hunt rogues, spies, pirates and honest merchants etc you could always go back in time and play his adventures as a young man in 1709 Scotland or North America - G7 (or perhaps that would be his father?).

North America in particular would seem to offer a wide selection of services and the opportunity for irregular deeds of daring ..... some of Agema favourite NPC seem to have worked for all of them at some time!

Perhaps your Character in 1750 can start to publish - the King Maker Chronicles Chapter One on this forum - to explain why he has a nasty bold spot and scar on the back of the head.

Ok so your character is a Prussian & Blackbeard is still running wild but clearly Richard did not drown him if he is penning his Chronicles in 1750! Or perhaps Kingmakers character in G2 was a Orphan (no doubt brought up by his Goat Keeping Grandfather after his mother fled the Cossack Death Squads).

or perhaps he could just challenge a certain prince to a duel and have it done with?  

At the moment there is talk in the paper of a certain reputable Prussian officer escorting a Russian princess to Berlin if the Russians so desire.

Said Officer needs to get back to Berlin and his Girl and marry her.

On the other hand a SB character in another game would give me something to do now the Kaiser is an NPC and his nemesis seems to be the new Director for War...
