Thanks I did enjoy Fong, I think he was perhaps my most interesting and successful 'creation'...just a shame that real life feel apart just as he was about to take things to a new level in game. I think the relationship we had in game was a brilliant one.
The new position has a lot of potential...not sure where it will go yet.

Re: Question regarding game 2
Lord Fong is indeed dearly missed, I had heaed rumours of his plans to open up a chain of fast food outlets across Europe, I take it that is what you were refering to when you say you were intending to take the game to a new level.
Now you are part of the German Nation, I hope that old friendships can be renewed. It will certainly add a new dimension to the game, as it has been a long time since parts of the HRE were active. Looking foward to your initial responces to in game diplomacy.
Good LucK & happy Gaming.

The cat made me think of the original series of Blackadder, where he is accused of witchcraft...but no, no messages from him, neither by mail, imp or familiar...

Re: Question regarding game 2
Jason,
I await your initial responces with a great degree of interest.
Maybe we need to contact the Vatican to sort out the problems in Paris.
If Lord Fong had opened those shops then I guess the cats wouldn't be a problem.

Re: Question regarding game 2
Tried the Sausage shop idea, unfortunatly didn't catch on in Anglo Saxon markets too much real meat not enough sawdust & breadcrumbs.
Has anyone been in contact with the Swedish player apparently he is at war because he thinks France is out Numbered, Problem is France attacked England, Spain, The Ottoman Empire & Imperial Prussia all in one month. So it's not as if he feals he needs help.

Re: Question regarding game 2
Dear All,
Why do people keep wanting to open sausage shops in Paris in Agema games?
In S for E the Germans seem to have the same urge.
Am I missing something in the rules? Like open sausage shop gain 5 honour points?

Re: Question regarding game 2
Hi Stuart
Opening the sausage shop in Scramble has just caused more problems than it is worth. The administration is overun with Franconian spies, both in Paris and Berlin, some of whom seem to be syphoning off funds to non existant troops. My prestige is still at level 1. I could do with a politician in Berlin to sort out all sorts of problems. So in a coventional sense opening a sausage shop in Paris is a disaster.
However, having Bismark wear a beret, drink absynthe and have French mistresses, seems to make up for it all somehow

Re: Question regarding game 2
Perhaps the sausage shop in itself isn't the disaster, trying to run the Germanian government from a Parisian sausage shop is?

Could be worse, could be trying to run a Parisian Sausage shop from Berlin

Re: Question regarding game 2
Aren't Sausages banned in France on culinary grounds. Or maybe the French would refuse to buy such a horid thing as a sausage. Bit more market reserarch is maybe required,

Perhaps we need a Sausage War? The French seize and destroy a shipment of Prussian sausages...

Re: Question regarding game 2
Living over here in Germany I have noted a distinct lack of pie & pasty shops, maybe it is this there is a corner of the market yet to be exploited!
