Wow! This month’s write-ups have certainly generated a lively discussion, and add so much to the enjoyment of the game, so long may they continue. I’m sure every player looks forward to the write-up. And if anyone disagrees with an opinion or player “fact”, there is ample opportunity to reply.
Thanks to Stuart for his comprehensive reply to my queries, and I feel J Flower’s pain at reliving game 2 lol. What with in-game letters, kids, rabbits, work and watching Newport County on line every weekend, plus a Sunday hike, I never have as much time as I would like to participate on the forum.
Yes, given the ease with which the Royal Treasury was moved from the Palace of Versailles to the town, suggests not too many bags of gold coins
, but the real goldmine will be the information it contains on income, taxation and trade etc. You would expect some tax collectors to withhold some or all of their payments to the state, if there is now no record of them as tax collectors, or what was previously deposited!
A paradox, can you setup a new Treasury if you haven’t gone one in the first place to pay for it?
As the future father-in-law I have every confidence in the Russian navy lol
