As to the fleet references...well surely its obvious...a cunning distraction from our magnificent kite force...

I admit, I'm curious about the whole Papin affair. They really are hot to get their hands on that frenchman!

5. The Mad Mufti of the Crimea is in Constantinople, no doubt calling for Jihad after the recent raid into Poland.

Ref the £20M offer for Sweden's Baltic Provences I have never played Sweden or Russia so purely out of interest does anyone know what the Baltic States are worth in terms of Population & Tax revenue at the start of the game?

I guess the tax revenue may vary a lot since a very big chunk of the revenue will be on Polish & Russian Transit trade. So if Russian trade revenue via the Baltic goes up to say £20M a year and the Swedes are taking 20% in customs, £20M from the Czar's coffers may only be equal to 5 years payments.

Of course the Czar and the Lithuanians could always send their trade south and avoid paying the Swedes but that means paying the Ottomans & in G8 the Mad Mufti. I have noticed that the Russians do not seem to like this either.

Degree is a BSc (hons) in natural science. Year one is a standard syllabus but in year two and three i'd like to focus on astrology, cosmology and planetary science (as opposed to Earth sciences).

In Edinburgh, phrases like "Stuart Plot" are being thrown around and arguments about who is Chancellor are raging...will someone have to resign or not? Luckily in 2014 we never have such arguments The matter of the HWIC is still not resolved.
Queen Anne has gone home, whether she is purring or not is not clear.

In the Hague, the Prussian ambassador is buying a lot of art and making a lot of artists rich.

In Cologne, they are thanking everyone who gave them grain and opening Protestant Churches.

Whilst in Kiel the Army of the Alliance continues to exercise (must be a big gym) but the Danes have gone home to get new equipment.

In Hanover medical things are happening in regards the teaching of scurvy and how to cure it whilst the Egyptian ambassador has been made very welcome. It appears their claim on the Archbishopric of Bremen is assured.

In Brunwsick womens rights have taken a step...erm...somewhere as the Duke signs a receipt for his daughter's dowry.

In Moscow, the Czar has agreed to buy the Baltic for 20 million but declines to reduce his military. Grain has been offered, at a fair price, to Manchuria.

Naval fun and games continue at Sfax. The fireships proved to be less than a success and it was a bad day to be a Sunni Preacher. Th Portuguese are going around they will attack "soon"...

In Egypt the Janissary seem to be up to their old tricks (Stuart take note) whilst in further signs of G2 leaking backwards in time, the Hanoverian rowing club has put in an appearance.

In India, the Great Moghul is after nautical charts...who knows why...whilst his invasion of Jat territory has hit a small blip as his cavalry appear to be undertaking a retrograde manover.

What Stuart plot? Its all lies, damn lies and Venetian/Janissary/Opium Cartel etc,etc propaganda! I have not been anywhere near Edinburgh or G8!! (Even if I do favour an independant Scotland as a stepping stone to a free Wessex).

I may however be partly responsible for G2 Janissary leakage.

For a laugh I think someone like Jason should try playing the Aga of the Janissary Corp or a Grand Vizier with with a Janissary power base inc the garrison's in Egypt and Rumelia and seeing what Richard does with the Albanians, Mamlukes etc:lol:

And my stuff didn't happen because orders failed.
